To save the expense of shipping one from France, I chose Prontaprint. I used the online ordering system (all very straightforward) to upload the PDF files, submit a front cover for embossing, etc – then it was printed within one working day and shipped to my university, where they received it. Not sure how the price (around £125 including printing and shipping) compares with other services. I was told that the finished thesis looked great! My only critique would be that if your thesis is in 2 volumes (one for text, one for illustrations, in my case) you have to order each volume individually – it would be nice to have the option of printing both volumes within the same order (this would also reduce shipping costs). But that’s my only objection. A great service if you want to get your final thesis printed and bound remotely!

Student Discount
The prices shown are for academic or student posters and include student discount and VAT. This is the total price you would pay.
If your poster is not an academic posters, please get in contact for our standard rates.
Printing
All of our posters are printed on a good quality 190g satin paper. If you want to avoid white borders, please ensure there is not important text/images etc within 8mm of the edge. If there is anything important too close to the edge, we will put a small white border all the way around the outside.
If your poster in not in the shape of A2/A1/A0 then it will have uneven white margins. We can trim it down if requested but then it will be smaller than the original size.
We do not check the layout, content or margins of your document so you must ensure what you send us is correct to your university’s specification.
